DESCRIPTION - ACCEPTED STUDENTS CATEGORIES: Career prospects

The program is suitable for both experienced and aspiring graduates who wish to enhance their careers. It is also appropriate for graduates who wish to pursue a research or academic oriented career in the fields of Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering. After graduation, students are eligible to work both in private research companies, institutes and laboratories or further pursue their academic development, applying for a Ph.D. Thesis.

Target Group

National and international holders of a bachelor’s degree in Life and Health Sciences (biology, medicine, dentistry, pharmacology etc.), Biomedical and Engineering Sciences (mechanical and chemical engineering) and other relevant disciplines. The program attracts motivated, independent students with a diversity of experience who are eager to contribute to the growing field of bioengineering.

Focus

The program is functioned towards providing current, fundamental knowledge at a high interdisciplinary level, practical expertise in research techniques and the development of research problem management skills in graduates wishing to pursue an academic career or professional establishment in the industry or in the private sector.
