Upon completion of the Program, students will be able, depending on their field of specialization:
- to know the historical and theoretical foundations of counseling approaches
- to apply counseling practices and skills, with the aim of promoting "well-being". That is, to support the individuals who are recipients of their services, in processing their difficulties, in successfully managing the crisis situations they face and in empowering them, in setting and satisfying their needs and goals
- to focus on the relationship between the counselor and the counselee, valuing diversity and promoting individual empowerment and social change
- to apply evaluation procedures applied in the field of counseling
- to address professional and ethical issues in the practice and exercise of counseling
- to recognize, understand and highlight the social and personal conditions that influence psychological development, education and social care.
