Description

Graduates of the Departments of History and Archaeology, as well as other related disciplines of universities in Greece or recognized similar institutions abroad, as well as graduates of Technological Educational Institutions (TEI) of a related cognitive subject are admitted to the Postgraduate Program.

The Postgraduate Program in Byzantine Studies of the Department of History and Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina provides a number of selected graduates with systematic and special studies, which lead to the award of a Master's Degree.
The Postgraduate Program in Byzantine Studies specializes in the following directions: Byzantine History and Byzantine Archaeology and Art.
The Postgraduate Program includes the Sections (a) Ancient and Medieval History and (b) Archaeology and Art History of the Department of History and Archaeology.

The main objectives of the program of study are:

1. To provide high quality postgraduate studies.
