Eligible for admission are:
1. Psychiatrists - Child psychiatrists
2. General Practitioners
3. Graduates of Higher Education Institutions of Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Administration and Political Science and other Departments of Higher Education directly related to the practice of psychiatry.
4. Graduates of TEI of Nursing, Public and Community Health, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy or other TEI giving a degree directly related to psychiatric activities.
5. Groups of the aforementioned graduates of H.E.I. and T.E.I. : a) belonging to a cultural minority with a mother tongue other than Greek b) with a long-term work in a foreign research center related to psychiatry and publications in journals with an impact factor. c) with at least two years of continuous activity in the public sector up to the closing date for applications, with a degree similar to or different from those in the previous categories and working as a manager in activities related to the organisation of psychiatric services or the prevention of mental disorders.
Social Psychiatry is a branch of Psychiatry. The MSc “Social Psychiatry” aims to create mental health professionals with specialized knowledge as well as research, organizational and clinical skills that will enable them to work effectively as managers in Social Psychiatry services and develop research in this field.
