Description

The Program aims to provide high quality education on the theory and practice of vaccines and infection prevention. Strategies for disease prevention, crisis management, communication with the family, interaction with both the community and the Healthcare authorities are implemented. The objective of the Program is to train the participants, especially those involved with the child and the teenager care, to acquire the skills for clinical service in the community and hospitals, health service providers and organizations focusing on vaccinations and prevention of infectious diseases for the general population and high risk groups, during emergency situations, e.g. population movements, epidemics, or disease outbreaks.

The Postgraduate Programme in Vaccines and Prevention of Infections in Childhood and Adolescence offers training and development of skills in vaccination and prevention of infectious diseases. The Programme's curriculum implicates basic theoretical education as well as practical skills and strategies for prevention, crisis management and interaction with the community.
