The programme offers specialized training in two tracks: “Latin American and Spanish Studies,” providing an interdisciplinary understanding of the Iberian and Latin American regions through history, culture, economy, sociology, and literature; and “Translation-Linguistics: Theory and Applications in Spanish,” preparing students for professional translation, Hispanic linguistics, and Spanish language teaching, including the use of modern translation technology. The program fosters critical thinking and provides a strong foundation for doctoral studies.
Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature, other Language and Literature departments, departments of Translation and Interpretation or other relevant departmens from a Greek university or equivalent foreign institution are eligible for admission to the program.
Teaching is performed live in classes. The course program can utilize distance learning educational methods for 35% of total courses. Teaching languages are exclusively Spanish and English.
