Description

The “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” program accepts graduates from medical schools in Greece or corresponding departments of affiliated institutions abroad. Graduates from other university departments with a related field of study (Nursing, Pharmacology, Biology, etc.) or from Schools of Philosophy, Law, Administration, Economics, European Studies, etc. in Greece or corresponding departments of affiliated institutions abroad who have proven special interest, previous work experience or experience in fields related to the subject of the postgraduate program and graduates from TEIs with a related field of study who have proven special interest, previous work experience or experience in fields related to the subject of the postgraduate program.


Comments

It is  a 2 years multidisciplinary  postgraduate program of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, that  aims to provide  theoretical and practical training, as well improve the  capacities and  skills  of the trainees in themes such as in health crisis management, emergency medicine and global health. Other subjects of studies include migrants health,  mental health, social  aspects of healthcare, humanitarian law,  health communication, participatory planning of public health policies and health economics.
