Farm Business Management & Consulting in Rural Development

Graduates of the Departments of Agricultural and other Sciences, Economics and Social Sciences of Greek Universities and corresponding Departments of similar recognized institutions abroad (recognition by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre), as well as graduates of the Departments of Technological Educational Institutions of related subject matter are admitted to the program.

The MSc in Agricultural Sciences is addressed to graduates of H.E.I. or T.E.I. in Agricultural Sciences who wish to combine their basic knowledge with elements of the science of Business Administration and Economics or to graduates of Economics or other related sciences, who wish to acquire basic knowledge mainly in Animal Production and Aquaculture, but also in Horticulture.

The MSc is an applied study program that combines an interdisciplinary approach and theoretical knowledge with developmental practice, with particular emphasis on the introduction and management of innovation. The MSc offers basic knowledge in the management of the primary sector (Animal Production and Aquaculture, Horticulture) combined with knowledge of Business Administration and Economics. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of Entrepreneurship and the management of Innovation.
