Description

The Master’s Program “Diagnostic and Therapeutic Approach to Diabetic Foot” of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Thessaly provides specialized education in a critical field of clinical medicine. It is addressed to healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis, prevention, and management of complications of diabetes mellitus, with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach.

The program accepts graduates from Schools of Health Sciences, Departments of Physical Education and Sport Science, as well as related fields from universities in Greece or abroad.

The aim of the program is to develop the knowledge and skills required for the comprehensive management of diabetic foot, focusing on pathophysiology, accurate clinical assessment, modern therapeutic approaches, and the prevention of complications such as amputations.
