The recent (May 2021) modification of the curriculum is an effort to renew it with modern subjects and new courses such as Negotiations, People and Organization Management, Business Planning, Start-ups and Design Thinking, Digital Marketing, etc. This renewal goes hand in hand with new partnerships in the Executive MBA academic staff with distinguished scholars as well as professional staff members, with PhDs and rich experience in the business world.
In addition to the continuous improvement of the educational process and the upgrading of knowledge in such a way that it keeps pace with the high demands of businesses and organizations, the Executive MBA programme aims at the extroversion of students and lecturers through their participation in international forums such as Euroweek, in international conferences, in business games with the participation of students from Greek and foreign universities, etc. Also, a key priority is the connection with the market through invitations to private and public sector executives in each course of the programme.
The structure of the Postgraduate Executive MBA Programme of the IHU is based on the logic of three semesters, where the first semester focuses on subjects that develop basic knowledge and management skills at a functional level and the second semester on a strategic level. During the third semester, the thesis is carried out, while through specialized workshops and business games, postgraduate students are given the opportunity to understand the process and the logic of synthesizing the knowledge acquired during the two previous semesters in order to successfully make comprehensive strategic decisions.
