Gain a systematic understanding of scientific theories that spotlight islands as distinctive and crucial places, all while exploring the natural and human-induced processes shaping their rich history, present, and future. Elevate your academic journey with ISLANDS, where local knowledge meets global perspectives.

Applicants should hold an academic bachelor degree (of comparable level to a Dutch academic bachelor degree obtained at a Dutch Research University) in fields such as geography, urban/regional planning, environmental science/engineering, economics, tourism, political science or related fields.
