The Program “Cardiovascular Disease” focuses on interdisciplinary postgraduate education, the advancement of knowledge, and the development of research in the field of cardiovascular disease and its prevention. The curriculum emphasizes both the training of participants in cardiovascular disease and the conduct of research. During the mandatory and elective courses, topics are thoroughly examined, including hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and lipids, as well as target organ damage associated with these conditions, exercise and nutrition in cardiovascular diseases, emerging technologies for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients at cardiovascular risk, and clinical postgraduate research in these subject areas.
Eligible for admission are:
1. Graduates of Medical Schools in Greece and abroad.
2. Graduates of Higher Education Institutions in Greece and abroad.
