This program offers the following areas of specialization:
Humanities
The Master's degree in English and American Studies aims to provide the opportunity to postgraduate students to research the relationship between literary texts and society, history, politics and culture to which they belong, to lead to a deeper knowledge and understanding of literary/cultural production and theoretical approaches, to train students to participate in a creative and critical dialogue in a variety of texts from different periods and different Anglophone cultures.
Graduates can be employed in the fields of education, journalism and Mass Media, public relations, advertising, and tourism, both in the public and private sector. They may also continue their studies and pursue a PhD.
