Description

This interdisciplinary program deepens students’ understanding of key social, cultural, and political issues in Greece and France while training them in literary and translation theory. Focusing on Franco-Greek intercultural relations, it examines translation as a tool of cultural mediation and explores how original and translated texts transmit ideas across cultures. The program also fosters critical analysis of literature and culture, supports the production of scholarly work, and provides specialized training for translators in the humanities.

Holders of a first-cycle degree in Language, Translation and Literature from a Greek university or equivalent foreign institution are eligible for admission to the program.
