Description

In the Postgraduate Program in Modern Greek Philology of the Department of Philology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, graduates of the Departments of Philology of domestic institutions or equivalent recognized Departments of foreign institutions are accepted. In any case, no Master’s degree is awarded to a student whose first cycle degree from a foreign institution has not been recognized by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (DOATAP), in accordance with Law 3328/2005 (A' 80).

In special cases, provided that they succeed in the entrance examinations and following a duly justified recommendation by the Coordinating Committee of the Postgraduate Program in Modern Greek Philology of the Department of Philology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, applications from graduates of other Departments as well as graduates of Technological Educational Institutions with a related field of study are also accepted. Candidates in these cases who are admitted are required to attend and be examined in an additional organized cycle of undergraduate courses in order to cover gaps in their undergraduate education.
