Humanities
The MA in Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Studies at the International Hellenic University offers an interdisciplinary study of the history, culture, and geopolitics of the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean regions. Students can specialize in Archaeology or Modern History & Politics, gaining expertise in areas such as archaeology, ethnography, art, religion, history, international relations, and diplomacy. Taught entirely in English by academics from Greece and abroad, the program prepares graduates from history, archaeology, social sciences, humanities, political science, geography, international relations, and related fields for research, academic, and professional careers in this geopolitically significant region.
Graduates of Philosophy Schools, Law Schools, Economics and Political Science Schools, Departments of Social Anthropology, Ethnography, Geography, International Relations, Sociology, Theology, Journalism, Balkan, Mediterranean, or Eastern Studies, and other related university departments in Greece or equivalent recognized institutions abroad, as well as graduates of technical educational institutions in related fields.
