COMMENTS: The subject of the Programme is Classical Studies, specifically the study of the cultures, languages and literature of classical antiquity. The aim of the Programme is to provide specialised knowledge on various aspects of ancient knowledge, as well as to deepen the interpretation of ancient literature and research into the study of important aspects of the ancient world. The Programme offers those interested the opportunity to come into contact with modern and interdisciplinary methods of approaching the ancient world. The Programme also aims to prepare its graduates for doctoral studies and to train qualified scientists and researchers who will staff Research Centres and University Departments at home and abroad. No tuition fees are foreseen for the attendance of the Programme.
