Description

This one-year (60 ECTS) interdisciplinary MSc, offered by the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the European Master's Program on Society, Science and Technology (ESST), explores the interaction of science, technology, and medicine with society through perspectives from the humanities and social sciences. Graduates earn both an NKUA MSc and an ESST diploma or certificate. The program connects STS with fields such as innovation, policy, culture, communication, media, gender, migration, disability, digital and environmental humanities, and biomedical ethics. Students develop the ability to analyze, interpret, and advise on issues of research, development, and innovation, while addressing the ethical and legal challenges of modern science and technology.

Holders of a relevant first-cycle degree from a Greek university or equivalent foreign institution are eligible for admission to the program.
