Description

The aim of the IPSP “Nanomedicine” is the scientific and technological education of university graduates in the principles and applications of Nanomedicine. In particular, it provides new direction in applications of Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery, Disease Diagnosis, Imaging, Surgery as well as in numerous techniques for the physicochemical characterization of nanoparticles, in vitro and in vivo. Based on the training provided, 'Nanomedicine' is an important qualification for scientists who aim to work in the Departments of Production, Quality Control, Research & Development of Nano-Pharmaceuticals, in medical imaging, surgical applications, in regenerative medicine and other fields of medicine or may wish to pursue a Doctoral Thesis provide within the rage of teaching courses in Greece or abroad.
In addition, graduates will be able to use the knowledge they have acquired in hospitals or diagnostic centers where they would be able.
In to apply the methods that have been taught as well as prepare diagnostic nano-pharmaceutical.
The duration of the program is one (1) year, including the time for the dissertation thesis and acknowledges 60 ECTS. The possibility of part-time study is provided. The teaching program ensures that graduates will gain the necessary theoretical knowledge to enable them to meet the increased demands in the field of science and to work independently and effectively in the field of Nanomedicine and research. The ISPS “Nanomedicine” accepts graduates in the subjects of Medicine, Pharmacology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and other related subjects from the Greek Universities or foreign institutions (recognized by DOATAP).
