The postgraduate program in Medical Physics-Radiation Physics, established in 1988, was the first in Greece to officially offer a Master of Science. It has been revised to align with European accreditation standards, prepare physics graduates for hospital-based Medical Physics training and professional licensing, and provide the scientific knowledge and research skills needed for careers in medical physics and related research and development.
Graduates of the Departments of Physics, Mathematics, Applied Physics, and Mathematics of the School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences (SEMFE), Medicine, Informatics, Engineering Departments of Polytechnic Schools in the field of radiotechnology, as well as holders of equivalent and corresponding degrees from Greece and abroad, in accordance with current legislation.
